The figure comes out of the surface
The series begins with patterns, whose surface design determines the visual character of the figure, without increasing the geometric complexity of the pattern. These images are approximately 1.5 meters wide and 3.5 meters or more high. Once these pattern images are created, they are cut out and sewn together. This transforms the figure from a flat surface into a three-dimensional object, ultimately brought to life by an actor for a video.

The now completed Figure 1 stands in a scaffold and dances its name.
The choreography visually represents the rhythmic patterns of Morse code.

A wide view of an open-pit mining landscape. In front of it is a fence. The pattern of the figure hangs on the fence. The pattern was applied to a strip of fabric, and the surface was designed with spray paint and marker. The figure is sitting in a room and turns on the light switch. Instead of a light bulb, a cucumber hangs from the electrical cord. The cucumber burns and falls to the ground. A cat enters from the edge of the frame and inspects the fallen pickle.

A surface with the pattern of the figure can be seen. The pattern was applied to a strip of fabric, and the surface was designed with brown and black ink. The figure is now a completed full-body suit with a double upper body.
Gabrielle Duval moves in a hopping, turning, and probing manner as the figure with two upper bodies through an empty space, until the figure finally lies motionless on the ground. The sound in the video is the sound of the suit.
